Dr. David started practicing in 1968 and was proud to have his daughter join him in 1992. Both Dr. Maria and Dr. David are “regent” contributors to the American Association of Orthodontist’s Foundation, the highest distinction awarded. Drs. Haas are also orthodontic consultants at the Cleft Palate clinic of Children’s Hospital in Akron, OH.
We offer a complimentary examination at which time the doctor provides a thorough explanation of treatment needs and options according to the patient’s wishes. Personal discussions of your chief complaint and aesthetic wishes to help address and maximize your treatment success. Complete records (x-rays, models, photographs) provide a clear picture of treatment needs and are updated throughout treatment. We emphasize early treatment to optimize facial growth and decrease the need for extractions of teeth and/or need for surgery in most cases.
We prioritize clear communication, patient education and prompt follow-through to ensure your dental health concerns are addressed efficiently and expediently. It also allows us to schedule and fulfill your appointments in short order. We will make every effort to schedule you in the same day if you are having a dental emergency.

We also offer indirect bracketing for greater patient comfort and accuracy which leads to decrease in treatment time. Our state-of-the-art computer imaging aids in diagnosing a personalized treatment plan for each patient.
Digital scanning eliminates the need for multiple impressions for your Invisalign aligners. We also provide thin, comfortable removable retainers to be worn at night. Patients and parents are informed of treatment progress at each appointment. Drs. Haas attend many local, regional and national meetings in order to further their education and stay abreast of the latest orthodontic developments. Collaborate with patient’s dentist through close communication.
We have chosen to focus on patient-based care instead of operating an insurance-based office. This means we will work with all insurance companies, but we simply don’t contract with them. While the orthodontic specialty has changed dramatically in recent years, the orthodontic insurance industry has remained stagnant and not kept up with the cost of living.
